Ben of Mesopotamia, a Harvard-trained member of the armed forces in Iraq and a blogger, has posted a very interesting report about Sen. John Kerry’s recent visit to Iraq. After his pre-election maybe-joke-gone-wrong slight to the troops about only dummies going into the Army and Iraq, he’s not exactly well-loved by the armed services. Apparently, not only was his press conference a dud (one reporter showed up, but only because it was his duty), but he was actively ignored and avoided by everyone.
